Summary: openSUSE updater details doesn't seem to take you to the
right place
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: RC 1
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: YaST2
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: jajensen@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: IS&T
I noticed there was a mandatory update available so I click the openSUSE
updater and all it told me was that there was 1 mandatory update. I don't
usually like to take updates without knowing what they are so I clicked
details. All this did was open up the YaST Package Selector with a whole bunch
of packages listed. I can't tell which package is being suggested for update.
So I am inclined not to take it.
If a user clicks on details for an update shouldn't they be taken to a list of
the packages that are going to be updated instead of a list of packages that
they can install?
