Once I got past the horrible UI (
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=473706 ;), I'm unable to reproduce the
problem, but there's another upstream bug (
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415237 ;)about how it doesn't work
properly through a proxy.  Are you using a proxy?

FWIW, the request to restore the scrolling functionality from the old applet is
already upstream: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=360047
