Summary: "intel" drv is showstopper  for "915 GM" brd using

xorg.conf

The new "intel" driver doesn't work on the Kde-live Rc1 Cd version, fonts are
oversized on everything and reverting to the i810 driver solves this issue. The
Gnome-live RC1 Cd also has issues but seem to be mainly related to the GDM
(large/oversized fonts), once it logs on and loads, it is usable (greeter
screen broken and needs to be forced closed). Reverting to i810 driver in the
Gnome version also resolves its issues.

 i810 seems to work fine.

It looks like the display (native resolution: 1400x1050) is not properly set
up, instead each pixel looks like twice the size horizontally, while vertically
full size is visibile.

XServer release: 1.2.99.901
"intel" driver release: 1.9.91
