- Date: Mon, 24 Sep 2007 02:11:06 -0600 (MDT)
- Message-id: <bug-327645-21960@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=327645
Summary: integrate "software repositories" with "community
repositories"
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: RC 1
Platform: i586
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Enhancement
Priority: P5 - None
Component: YaST2
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: bluedzins@xxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---
Minor issue is unfortunate naming -- community repos are really software repos,
and in software repos you see community repos.
But the main problem is -- the existence of two modules for such simply (from
user point of view) tasks are confusing. Instead of one place to manage
repositories, you have to switch back and forth to manage them.
I would opt for adding to software repositories new button "add predefined
repo" (or similar) or adding tab to this dialog. Another option would be adding
new radio button in "add" dialog, named "community repository" (below "URL" for
example).
