https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=327603 Summary: Sun Java 1.5 can't be replaced by 1.6 without uninstalling OpenOffice.org Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: dbornkessel@novell.com ReportedBy: cmorve69@yahoo.es QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: pmladek@novell.com Found By: --- Well, I'm not sure about this one, but... Package OpenOffice_org (x86-64) requires "jre-64", java-1_5_0-sun provides it but java-1_6_0-sun doesn't. So you can't replace Sun Java 1.5 by 1.6 completely if you want to mantain OpenOffice_org. Package versions are: java-1_5_0-sun-1.5.0_update12-21 java-1_6_0-sun-1.6.0.u1-24 OpenOffice_org-2.3.0.1.2-4 Not sure if it's a packaging problem or if the problem is that java-1_6_0-sun really doesn't provides everything needed by OpenOffice.org (and so no a openSUSE bug at all). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
