I'm having several issues with 10.3 RC1. This is one of them;

ALSA sound/pci/ac97/ac97_codec.c:2046: AC'97 1 does not respond - RESET
ALSA sound/pci/ac97/ac97_codec.c:2055: AC'97 1 access is not valid
[0xffffffff], removing mixer.
ALSA sound/pci/ali5451/ali5451.c:1935: ali mixer 1 creating error.

I don't have sound in 10.3 RC1. I had sound on 10.2 if I added my username to
the sound (multimedia?) group.
