Well, I like KNM and I use it all the time, and I don't use Kwifimanager too
often (once half a year). But it is with everything configured and working.
When I am installing new system there is always a bit of a struggle to make the
wireless card working, so I want to double check. Besides kwifimanager is not a
big software (I hope it could fit on the disk).
However in this specific case it didn't help. It appeared that in order to make
my wifi card working I had to connect to internet (circular dependency) and
run:
install_bcm43xx_firmware
It was single command I had to execute -- except for this opensuse 10.3
configured everything properly (great!).
So while talking about packages set -- would it be possible to include such
firmwares (not only for broadcom)? Or this is legal problem?
