This is a minor default setting request.  Icons should probably be set to align
to grid by default given that this behaviour tends to be the default on most
other Personal Computers.  In my opinion, this default behaviour would also
assist less technical users in keeping their desktop tidy (note, opinion only!
This is why I filed the severity as "enhancement").
