I don't understand why setting by default 3d acceleration off why it is
possible to turn it on. Intel X3100.

Of course it is not a big deal for me, but I guess the default options should
be set to optimum, so are there any drawbacks of setting 3d on?

Wish: please turn 3d accel. on when it is available.
