[Bug 326376] DNS hangs/errors

The problem seems to be more low level. I observed meanwhile also hanging of
pings to both networks (to 149.44.170.254 and 10.10.0.10).
In general, I would say it is a generic broken network, but only 10.3 hosts
seems to be affected and I hear about similar problems from other people in
other networks (ro and thoenig both in 10.10.x network, but all with different
hardware).
The hanging DNS is most likely only a following problem, because no traffic
wents over the wire at all.
