Hi, 
the sound is vanishing after a few seconds or minutes. In most cases I can get
it working again for a few minutes by pausing playback an resuming it.

On the following motherboards:

ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe 
MSI 865PE Neo2-V

both Intel 865PE+ICH5 Chipset Based AC 97 Audio

Error occurs also in 10.2/10.1.

A similar Bug for another Mainboard/Chipset has already been reported:
