it is impossible for me to run kded in gdb, since it always stops with "press
<cr> for next page". This locks kded, which in turn locks up the whole GUI when
opening a page in konqueror, with the mouse and keyboard grabbed, so that i can
only switch to a text console and kill everything from there.

Please try to reproduce by yourself, if it does not happen on your machine,
please provide detailed information on how to obtain further debug information.
