This was observed in openSUSE 10.3 beta3 unofficial ia64.

While trying to work around bug 326547, which I tried because I wanted to work
around bug 326547...  I tried epihany out of an act of desperation to find
some sort of web browser that would let me at least download files.

I used yast in text mode to install the package and was hit by continual
spewage
of messages that don't appear to be errors per se, but destroy the whole text
interface.

Please see the attached screen shot to get an idea of what I'm talking about.
Note that the messages spew for quite some time so the screen shot may not do
the problem justice.
