jpeg showing the problem with konqueror

This was observed in opensuse 10.3 beta3 unofficial ia64 bits...

While trying to work around bug 326132 (where several things including
downloading files kill off firefox) I decided to try konqueror.

Unfortunately, konqueror is in worse shape.  Please note: I'm running it
from gnome.

It starts up ok, but there is a large gap between the
'Location / Edit / View / Go ...' top toolbar, and the start of the web page.

So I went in to Settings -> Toolbars and tried adjusting the various toolbars.

The whitespace in the gap where the toolbars should be changed in size, but
toolbars never appear.  You can't, for example, enter a URL.

See the attached jpg for the weird white space where the tool bars should be.
