I am getting the same issue with a FSC Amilo Si1520 with ipw3945 when updating
to the latest Kernel ( kernel-default 2.6.22.5-21-i586 / kernel-bigsmp
2.6.22.5-21-i586 ) from factory, while using kernel-default 2.6.22.5-10-i586
from the Beta3 DVD works nicely.

Updating requires installation of ipw3945 in addition to iwlwifi, not sure what
this is supposed to mean, as this are different drivers for the same hardware.
