- From: bugzilla_noreply@xxxxxxxxxx
- Date: Wed, 19 Sep 2007 07:36:57 -0600 (MDT)
- Message-id: <bug-326387-21960@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=326387#c1
Summary: mass storage device creates no block devices anymore
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: RC 1
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Critical
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Kernel
AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: adrian@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---
My long standing camera does not work anymore with the last kernels. USB events
are created, but udev does not get an event to create a block device according
to kay sievers.
Any USB stick I tried creates a block device.
The camera itself cause also still creating block devices on 10.2 systems.
Critical, because this is a regression.
