Summary: --rtc doesn't work in hwclock
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Beta 2
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
AssignedTo: mkoenig@xxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: bwalle@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
CC: anschneider@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: Development
While looking at bug 326073, we found out that --rtc= is not honored. If
/dev/rtc exists and is invalid and --rtc=/dev/rtc0 is specified (which exists
and is valid), hwclock still tries to open /dev/rtc and fails.
