* Installing eclipse
$> rpm -qa | grep eclipse
eclipse-scripts-3.3-45
eclipse-platform-3.3-45
eclipse-archdep-platform-3.3-43
eclipse-3.3-45
eclipse-archdep-jdt-3.3-43
eclipse-archdep-gtk2-3.3-43

* removing ~/.eclipse/ directory
* start eclipse 
=> this results in an error. I will attache the logfile.
