I run the following command on vc2

    DISPLAY=:0 /mnt/usr/X11R6/bin/xwd -root > /mnt/root/xwd-output

all those xwd output files with "-root" just show some memory dump from xwd
instead of frame buffer data.

the only good xwd output was created without "-root" option, so I had switch to
vc7 and click on a window.

shouldn't the Xserver support xwd even while not running on the active virtual
console ?!? IIRC this worked fine in older versions, isn't it ???
