the update was done booting from a CD

the solver only found a solution with two kernels, the -default one was picked
by yast as default and the -bigsmp was picked to satisfy the dependencies of a
kernel module that only exists for bigsmp, but satisfy the thinkpad modinfo.

Ludwig and Schubi looked at the log files and the case with the two kernels
should be an artefact, but that can also happen with a normal install and some
build service repositories.
