After installing chinese language support (scim, skim, uim),
a PerlTk application does not react to keyboard input.
(Several trials with reboots, reinstallations and modifications of
scim/skim/uim configuration had been done.)
After uninstalling PerlTk and installing ActiveState Perl everything is OK.
