[Bug 262317] sax2 fails due logitech usb gaming mouse

Darren, you created your xorg.conf with nvidia-xconfig. AFAIK sax2 doesn't
touch any xorg.conf files, which couldn't be read in successfully - which
happened in this case. The vga setting change in menu.lst seems to be a side
effect (might be a bug in SaX2, which needs to be reported seperately). All in
all your results are completely unrelated to the original evdev mouse driver
problem. Since your original xorg.conf has not been changed by SaX2 the normal
mouse driver specified in this file is running and works as expected. I suggest
to rename xorg.conf and test again. I'm sorry.
