It is reproducible on my setup.
This is full text of suggested partitioning:
* Delete partition /dev/sda6 (5.0 GB)
* Delete partition /dev/sda7 (3.6 GB)
* Create swap partition /dev/sda6 (760.8 MB)
* Create root partition /dev/sda7 (5.0 GB) with ext3
* Create partition /dev/sda8 (2.9 GB) for /home with ext3
* Set mount point of /dev/sda1 to /windows/C
* Set mount point of /dev/sda2 to /windows/D
* Use /dev/sda5 as swap
Interesting that it does suggest using /dev/sda5 as swap.
At this stage "cat /proc/swaps" provides just header line and no other output.
I did swapon /dev/sda5, it worked fine and after that "cat /proc/swaps"
reported /dev/sda5.
After that I returned to installer, pressed "back" to return to previous
question and "next" again thinking that it may re-calculate partitioning, but
no, it was still the same.
If I remember correctly, this laptop initially had only WinXP installed, then I
manually decreased Windows logical disc D and installed openSuSE 10.2.
This is the only "special" thing about this setup, as far as I can see.
