Well, on my system (openSUSE 10.3 Beta3 x86_64) the labels are not user
friendly. Only the ntfs partition named "Windows XP" allows the user to
recognize what the disk is used for. And hovering over the other three labels
(see screenshot) does not help either, because it displays only "media:/sdaX".
Well, I know, that sda7 is my home partition and sda8 my root file system, but
what about less experienced users?
I would agree, if the labels were named like in the screenshot here:
http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=58704
Naming "/home" -> "Home", "/boot" -> "Boot" and "/" -> "System", but just
naming the ext3 partitions "xxG Media" isn't very user friendly. Above all,
there is a separate column "Total space" so there's no need to have the
capacity in the label as well!?
