https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=308388 Summary: YaST NTP timerserver config do not accept a IP address Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: yast2-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: kkeil@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Development During setting time in the very early set time/timezone dialog you can use NTP as option to setting the actual time. It take the setiings from DHCP if present. I use DHCP for delivering a NTP server address, the address is numeric (10.23.200.9 in my case). YaST popups an error: "Invalid server hostname". If I change the address manually to a name, it got accepted, but I think it should also accept numeric addresses in this field. I do not think logs are required here, but if you need some please drop me a note. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
