Summary: YaST Network (Installation) - Cancelling network device
[Configure] renames the device
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Beta 2
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: YaST2
AssignedTo: mzugec@xxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: locilka@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---
I have two different network devices listed in the Network Settings dialog:
* ASUSTeK A7...
* Realtek 8139
When the first device is not configured (IP Address: Not configured), I can
click on the [Configure] button. Then I can click on the [Back] button which
returns to the Network Settings dialog.
Then, my ASUSTek is renamed to "Ethernet Network Card"
with details:
Device Name: eth
Started manually
IP address: , subnet mask
After I [Delete] the configuration, the device name is back to ASUSTeK...
maybe duplicate?
