--- Comment #6 from Svetoslav Milenov 2007-09-02 08:24:49 MST ---
I check my email every minute (only 1 account), and kio_pop3 processes keep
increasing, between 8 and 18 per try. The email I check has heavy traffic.
If I set the check interval to 10 minutes, it creates 4 processes per check.
And 2-3 of them are destroyed after 5-6 minutes. But there is always one or 2
remaining, so it keeps increasing the nr. of the processes.
Cheers
P.S. I'm using kdepim3-3.5.7.enterprise.0.20070831.706868-15.2 on 10.0 x86_64.
P.S.2: When running from cli, when a scheduled check is performed, it displays:
ASSERT: "!mMailCheckProgressItem" in
/usr/src/packages/BUILD/kdepim-3.5.6.enterprise.0.20070731.694771/kmail/popaccount.cpp
(403)
After 2 or 3 processes are left behind, upon next scheduled check, I receive
this message multiple times (i.e. the nr. of the processes).
