There are two different aspects:
a) we don't officially support the KDE:Backports repository. If you use it and
you can't boot anymore afterwards or it accidentally wipes your hard disk, then
this is "oh sorry, but your bad luck trying it".
b) distribution update not being possible due to additional buildservice
repositories being installed. I think this should work.
I know the redcarpet solver cannot handle b) at all very well. there might be a
hack possible for a distribution upgrade though (like e.g. preferring packages
which were rebuild against the new distribution).
if the release numbers of kdelibs3 from factory are lower than the release
number of kdelibs3 in the buildservice for 10.2, then this is not our bug, as
we can't influence the release numbers at all.
