Just typed edit in gdb and got.

(gdb) edit
bash: /bin/ex: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden (file not found)

There is /usr/bin/ex

# rpm -qf /usr/bin/ex
vim-base-7.1-32

# rpm -q gdb
gdb-6.6.50.20070726-13
