Going into details by clicking on "Software" when the message comes up, I get:
A conflict over openSUSE == 10.3 (openSUSE <= 10.2) requires the removal of the
product:openSUSE-DVD5-download-10.3.i686[openSUSE-10.3-DVD 10.3] which is
scheduled for installation
There are a number of lines below that as well, saying much of the same, with
repository URIs.
It seems as if the online repositories are completely broken and have been for
two days at least. I was able to install Beta 2 on two machines very soon after
it went public, but have been unable to install it 6 times since then on
various machines using various media (DVD from PXE and the 1 CD GNOME install).
Each attempt leads to the same errors.
Am bumping the severity to critical as this is extremely broken. Many others
have been hitting the same problem.
