--- Comment #3 from Christian Boltz
Christian, where is java-1_4_2-sun coming from? I couldn't find it in any of our 10.3-related repos?
# rpm -qi java-1_4_2-sun Name : java-1_4_2-sun Relocations: (not relocatable) Version : 1.4.2_update15 Vendor: SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Nuernberg, Germany [...] Distribution: openSUSE 10.2 (i586) So it's from the official 10.2 media / non-OSS tree. Everything else would have surprised because I don't pay special attention to java packages ;-)
IIUC, we will only be shipping java-1_5_0-sun -- so, looks like obsoletes are missing!
Yes, looks so. And there are more 1.4.2 packages left. On my system after update to 10.3 beta2, I have the following java-related packages: # rpm -qa |grep -i java java-1_4_2-gcj-compat-1.4.2.0-151 java-1_4_2-sun-plugin-1.4.2_update15-0.1 java-1_5_0-sun-1.5.0_update12-16 java-1_4_2-sun-1.4.2_update15-0.1 gcc42-java-4.2.1_20070724-9 javamail-1.4-83 java-1_5_0-sun-plugin-1.5.0_update12-16 gcc-java-4.2-18 gcc41-java-4.1.3_20070724-9 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
