--- Comment #7 from Sven Burmeister 2007-08-28 00:53:16 MST ---
Since I changed ~/.kde/share/config/knetworkmanagerrc "Autostart=no" to "yes"
is works.
I just tried the follwoing: I changed the Autostart to "no" then used YaST's
network-module to switch to ifup-mode. Started it again and switched to
NetworkManager-mode.
While NetworkManager is re-started the Autostart stays "no". Would it not have
to be changed to "yes"? It also does not start knetworkmanager, if it is not
running, so although the user switched to NetworkManager one cannot use it
because knetworkmanager is not started when swtiching.
How does the "no" get into the rc-file, or to put it the other way around, how
does the user/app change it to "yes" if not manually?
If I quit "tray apps" I usually get a window that has three buttons, one of
them being "Do not restart when kde starts". When I quit knetworkmanager I do
not get such a window. But just the one whether I want to really quit or not.
