https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=300737 Summary: yast2-gtk: package selection is illogical Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jdluhos@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- In the YaST2-Gtk, the package selector shows two columns; the left is marked as "Available", the right is "Installed". The left column in fact contains all packages (both installed and uninstalled), and when an already installed package is selected, it is automatically scrolled to in the right column. So far, the behavior is logical. However, when the user selects a package for installation, the package *disappears* from the left column. This is illogical and confusing because all other packages are there, both installed and uninstalled ones. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
