For example: $ cd /usr $ du -x * 20 bin/inst-source-utils/modules 24 bin/inst-source-utils 445316 bin 4 games 4 i586-suse-linux 16 include 96 lib 0 local 16 lost+found 16 sbin 8 share 4 src 0 tmp 4 X11R6 $ du -x games 5568 games I have tried this on a few different directories on assorted 10.2 systems with the same result. However it works on SuSE 10.1.
