I use for adding boot option "crashkernel" yast module Bootloader exactly:

Bootloader::setKernelParam (Bootloader::getDefaultSection (), "crashkernel",
crash_value); 

- crash_value is string value of "crashkernel"

Function setKernelParam() doesn't work. Boot option is not added.
