--- Comment #8 from Christopher Desjardins 2007-08-12 16:24:01 MST ---
The only configuration that worked, and it only worked on the first time and
never again in X, was
s2ram -f -a 1 -s -v
When I would retry this command, X would appear to recover but instead of
dumping me back into GNOME it would print (in the upper left hand corner of my
screen in yellow letters) INU.
The following is the output from s2ram -i (which I imagine isn't very handy
since I wasn't able to suspend and recover properly)
opensuse:/home/lontra # s2ram -i
This machine can be identified by:
sys_vendor = "LENOVO"
sys_product = "076804U"
sys_version = "3000 N100 "
bios_version = "63ET59WW"
See http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram for details.
If you report a problem, please include the complete output above.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was able to successful suspend and recover by booting with init=/bin/bash by
passing the following parameters to s2ram
s2ram -f -p -m
s2ram -f -s
s2ram -f -a 1 -s
However, none of those successful recovered in X.
