And also completely divergent from mainline. You're welcome to push that change
upstream, but I'm afraid "SUSE's fs detection tools identify it as iso9660 and
want to load it by that name" is an argument that won't get you very far. I'd
imagine most responses would be either "fix your detection tool" or "use
modprobe.conf"
If we were to change anything in the kernel, it would be to add a field similar
to that used by drivers now where the file system identifies itself
independently of what the module is called. I'm not confident that would be
well received by mainline either.
