Description:

Before auto suspend to RAM I suspended to disk and let my Thinkpad Z61m return
from suspend to disk without problems.

In Gnome power manager I set automatic suspend to RAM after 30 minutes. After
my Thinkpad automatically suspends to RAM after 30 minutes I close the lid.
After opening the lid again, my Gnome session is killed and I get a GDM
greeting screen.

This is annoying cause if there were unsaved files they are lost.

How to reproduce:

1. Suspend the notebook to disk
2. Power on the notebook again and let it return from suspend to disk
3. Set auto suspend to ram in Gnome power manager to for example 30 minutes.
4. Wait 30 minutes till notebook automatically suspends to RAM
5. Close laptop lid
6. Open laptop lid - notebook wakes up automatically
7. Gnome session is killed and you are thrown to a GDM login screen.

Expected behavior:

Notebook should always return to Gnome session no matter if it was suspended to
disk or RAM a few times.
