On an FSC Amilo Si1520 Notebook with Intel IPW3945 wireless card running
openSuSE 10.3 alpha5 no connection to wpa2 encrypted Access Point possible.

Workaround is setting up /etc/sysconfig/network/wireless containing

PREFER_WPA_SUPPLICANT=yes
WIRELESS_WPA_CONF=/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf

and setting up /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf manually
