https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=283103 Summary: Changing brightness with DELL laptop hotkeys is broken Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: juan.hoyosr@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop w/ GNOME as desktop env. The brightness cannot be changed by the destined hotkeys (Fn+Up/Down) since first installation. Other hotkeys for Suspend, Hibernate, Volume and Eject work fine. Don't know if is just coincidence, but in Control Panel / Keyboard shortcuts one can find the working hotkeys options. Brightness is never a choice.
