Even if it's support deadlock free SWAP support. The ISO feature is also very hard to implement .. because you cannot resize a partition which is mounted. I guess in most cases the partition where the ISO is placed is the only partition. So ntfsresize or parted will fail. Actually most of the feature have to be implemented in the installation system. We aren't able to do such task with instlux - instlux only modifies the windows bootloader and boots grub4dos with a kernel which is placed on a windows partition. If the installation system is able to handle that .. we could implemented in instlux to call the kernel with a special parameter to make use of it. Most boxes with a Windows and a NTFS filesystem should have enough RAM to do a installation without a SWAP disk on a NTFS partitation. @Installation Component: Is it possible or safe enough to make use of SWAP on NTFS and mount the media from a NTFS partitation as ISO? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
