BTW, being a software engineer with 40+ years experience, I am seriously
disappointed. I "NEVER" asked my end users to do my troubleshooting for me.
This just simply amazes me, PERIOD! I have 2 machines here running 10.2. One is
32 bit and the other 64 bit. Both machines DO NOT keep accurate time while
running your OS. Now, to add fuel to the fire, this problem did NOT exist in
9.1 nor 9.3 nor 10.1. I am, to say the least, saddened that like everything
else with SUSE, we (the end user) have to solve the problem. I have 2 SCSI CD
burner drives hooked up to Adaptec cards in 2 different machines and have never
been able to ever successfully burn or erase CD's since 9.1. This "bug" is
STILL on the books. Come on guys. You are better than this. Hey, just to add
my "fuel" to the fire. I can burn CD's with both machines all day, and all
night long in WINDOZE (2K and XP). How pathetic!
