[Bug 279024] network breaks down with e100 driver on a core duo box under heavy network load

more additional info:
with the latest e100 driver from intel.com, built directly from the tar file
into a rpm by using rpmbuild -ta, the network doesnt break down anymore, and
gets a 100mbit fullduplex link without any ethtool options in the ifconfig
file.
BUT: the speed still is on 10mbit level. a bit better, 1mbyte/second instead of
850kbyte/second, but not what i'd expect on 100mbit.
