https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=278172 Summary: iscsi discovery configuration files store Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 4plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: hare@novell.com ReportedBy: mzugec@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de In /etc/iscsi/nodes are $portal_name directories contains $target_name configuration files 1 - when you do discovery, discovered data are written into appropriate directory, nothing else. My first suggestion is - after write data, delete old files that was not in discovery list (when you remove any target from portal and do discovery again, it should be removed) 2 - each configuration file contains two kinds of information: - informations from target (node.name, ...) - client configuration of target (node.startup, authentication settings) When you write configuration, keep there first kind of data. This will solve problem when you configure authentication connection or startup=automatic it will not be removed after discovery. You know rule in initrd - don't do discovery before connect into authenticated target -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
