Summary: Workaraound for altgr characters trouble under X server
                    ltsp terminal generated by kiwi
           Product: openSUSE 10.2
           Version: Final
          Platform: x86
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P5 - None
         Component: Other
        AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: info@xxxxxxxxxxx
         QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx

After a successful installation of KIWI-LTSP, and the same xorg.conf keyboard
configuration for a Swiss French keyboard of the terminal in
/srv/kiwi-ltsp/etc/X11/xorg.conf as the SUSE 10.2 server, the altgr characters
like @ and # aren't working under X session on terminal.

The altgr characters are correctly working when I make a connection via ssh
from the SUSE 10.2 server to the terminal but not under the X session terminal.
All other accentuated characters are well working under ssh and X session
terminal.

The workaround I used is to copy the SUSE 10.2 server dir /usr/share/X11/xkb
under /srv/kiwi-ltsp/usr/share/X11 that was missing.

I suppose that the xkeyboard-config package is missing in KIWI-LTSP terminal
setup.

I hope this will help someone, and much Thanks for KIWI-LTSP.
