When using a filters to auto-move e-mails to folders and/or when using an
external filter application like bogofilter, SpamAssassin etc, e-mail is
duplicated on every e-mail pull from the IMAP server. Leaving KMail running
over night fills the mail box with hundreds of duplicated emails and creates
chaos. Only work-around is currently using KMail's "delete duplicate mails"
feature manually from time to time which is very annoying.

My setup:

openSUSE 10.2 using KDE Backports and Playground repository
KDE 3.5.6
Exchange 2003 on Windows Server 2003 SBS with CachedIMAP (DIMAP)
Kontact 1.2.4 with KMail 1.9.6

Package versions:

kdepim3-3.5.6-44.1
kdeaddons3-kontact-3.5.6-6.19

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a CachedIMAP/DIMAP account in KMail
2. Configure some filter rules to forward mails thru bogofilter and move mails
to folders
3. Let KMail automatically pull e-mails every some minutes
4. After some hours KMail fills the folders with duplicated e-mails

This worked correctly before one of the last updates. Now it contains a bug
which was supposed to be closed:
