Thomas, that would already be a good improvement.  Would it be possible to go
even further:

We could have some moving indicator while the resize process is alive.  Eg.
something like:

[===xxxx===========================================] t = 0
[===========xxxxx==================================] t = 1
[=========================xxxx=====================] t = 2
[===================================xxxx===========] t = 3
[=============================================xxxx=] t = 4
[===================================xxxx===========] t = 5
