When i try to connect my ide hdd which is connected via a ide to usb converter
it errors out saying : 

sd 1:0:0:0: SCSI error: return code = 0x10070000

end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 0

end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 0

when i try to do a fdisk /dev/sda it says that it cannot read superblock. My
kernel version is : 2.6.18.8-0.3-default

and I am running opensuse-10.2. Tested on a ubuntu based system running the
2.6.20  kernel it works perfectly
