(using the latest KDE from the buildservice, but this happened with older
versions also)

Kopete kicked me off from status meetings several times. Or it managed the IRC
server to do it.

In today's opensuse status meeting, I used Konversation as backup client ;-)
and found the message ("cboltz" is the username used in Kopete)

    [18:23] <-- cboltz hat den Server verlassen (Excess Flood).
    ("cboltz left the server (Excess Flood)")

I don't know what Kopete is doing, but the IRC server obviously doesn't like it
