It will cost me a long time to reproduce the error in this way. I'm logged into
this system since Fri Mar 30 18:08:31 2007. After that long time I discovered
this bug. So I suspect this is some communication error that needs a long
running kde.

But the command "dcop kicker Panel restart" produces the following error in the
xsession-errors file in the home dir.

Launched ok, pid = 8712
KMenuBase::setProperty( "frameShadow", value ) failed: property invalid,
read-only or does not exist
KMenuBase::setProperty( "frameShape", value ) failed: property invalid,
read-only or does not exist
QObject::connect: No such signal Kicker::settingsChanged(SettingsCategory)
QObject::connect:  (sender name:   'kicker')
QObject::connect:  (receiver name: 'animtt')

Would this be any starting point?
